La la la...

I seriously need to get a life.

I've been hooked to 'The Beatles' - not that its a bad thing, they just ROCK! - I've been neglecting my studies because I'm too busy composing poetry and I am seriously in need of some fresh air and a new face.

I look in the mirror and ask myself "are you gonna look the same your whole life?". My legs look like reptile skin cause I haven't put lotion for a few months ( thanks Sheralyn, for giving me some today! ) and I really really really need to lose those glasses.

Please don't think that I'm super shallow because of my attempt to improve my appearence. Seriously, WHAT IS SO SHALLOW ABOUT THINKING ABOUT SELF-IMAGE???
I just don't get it. Its all right to improve your self-image but its not okay to obssess about it all the time. But when people talk about self-image, everyone goes "Eh, don't be so shallow lah! "

Sigh, I seriously need to get a life.

Things I have to do this holiday:

  1. STUDY!!!!
  2. Lose 1.5kgs at least!
  3. Read more on Emperor Qin ShiHuang Di.
  4. Write more love poetry.
  5. Clean my room. Too many exam papers around!
  6. Practise my guitar.
  7. Have fun!

One entry, another coming up!

I love my classmates.
They're the nicest people to hang-out with. I kinda took myself out of my usual group of friends because theres not much of a connection. Plus we don't sms or call each other anymore.

I guess high school is just like that lah. Friends come, friends go. Boys come, boys go.
Yes, although I go to a girl school, I do seem to have quite a number of guy friends.

At least I'm a little more happy now since I seem to have fitted in quite fast in church and my grades have been improving. Oh yea, and I lost 4kgs!!!!

There was a period of time that I skipped my lunches and exercised like an hour a day to reduce more fat. I fell into depression, man. I hated the way I look and always wondered why my sister got all the pretty genes while I was stuck with the book smart genes. Plus, I look like a super nerd although I'm not one.

Please lah, I hate to study. I like to learn but not study. I just push myself to study because if I don't, I can't go to college and will end up in Form 6 ( yer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! )

Oh well, at least God had knocked some sense into me while I was praying one night and I finally saw that all I have to do is just live healthy. No need to skip lunch and intensive exercise. I am made complete in His sight lah wei!
How encouraging is that??

Yes, I still continue to cut my rice and avoid trans and hydrogenated fats and too much sugar. But I can do all that now without negative feelings!

Dear Amachi

Yesterday we had a celebration for my grandmother since it was her birthday. We went to a chinese restaurant-the asam fish was super nice! and then went home to cut the cake. My grandmother is one person I really look up to.

Come on lah, how many ladies you know were forced to leave their homeland because she had to marry at 18-to a man she did not know (my grandfather)? And then cope in a foreign country with no friends and 5 kids? WOW. FYI, my grandmother is from India.

My grandmother cutting her 'MAMA' cake. HEHEH. It was funny to see the mama on the cake because well, we don't call her mama. At least I don't.

The 'mama' cake. Looks like it had a bumpy ride on the way to the house. :P

Prayer of blessing for my grandmother. My mom, being the only daughter, prayed for her.
Dear Amachi,
I know you have probably not heard about the internet, but I just want to say that I love you so much and thank you for playing a part in my upbringing. I know I can be quite a handful when it comes to my diet, but you're my motivation for me to drop a few pounds :P
Thank you for always giving me hugs and love.
You're the hero of my life after seeing what you have been through.
I LOVE YOU.
Sorry amachi, but I'm too young to get married so I hope that there will be no suitors from India for me. ( hehe, just joking! )
Your elderst granddaughter,
CARISSA

Nothing interesting...do you like buns, anyway?

I'm back!
Too bad exams are on Monday. So I'll be tearing my hair off ( oh well, whats there to tear since my hair is super short!? )

Have you ever seen a bun that looks like a bun and smells like a bun but actually isn't a bun at all? Wow, I like that statement!
Anyway, Joshua brought it to church last Sunday and I seriously thought it was a real bun caused I smelt it. Until Josiah had to put it in his mouth and it got all yucky!

Sharma Man! Poser lah, that guy.

The rightful owner and his bun. :P
Yay, 14 days till I become seventeen!
LALALALALALALALA.

Ladies and ladies, I give you....5sC2!!!

Looks like I'm on a roll with posting photos. Well, since I didn't blog about my class outing to Mid Valley, then I'll at least post some pictures. We went to watch 'Race to Witch Mountain' and had an awesome time just being silly and pose-y!

Ladies and ladies oops...Gentlemen, I present to you : 5SC2!!!! >so random lah...<

Group photo. Too many people to name each one of them.

Another one...
.....
.....

Gosh, we're so embarassing. We decided to check the difference between white gold and platinum after our chemistry class with Madame Grace. Syok-sendiri lah, we all!

Lets see... theres Rinda, Hui Zhen, Revitha, Amanda, Szi Yee, me and Siu Ann. Oh yeah, and Vimala pointing upwards!

Cecilia and Rinda - poser people! :P

Huh???? How did this photo appear again? My bad! Oh well, at least I can see my colgate smile!
HEHEHE.

People who absolutely love noise and food! That's us!! Don't care what those teachers say about us!

We met one of the Alleycat members....gosh, I forgot his name. He was so kind to take a photo with us. If you don't know the Alleycats, then don't call yourself Malaysian!

Two people fighting for me. How sweet>>>>> Hahahahaha.

Me and Weng Yian. I've been sitting next to her for the past three years! since form 3. Fun person-very yeng!

Poser people-again. This time with the trolley!

The geek among the pretty roses, don't you think? Odd one out :P

Family Frenzy : My true cheerleaders!

Family is the only people you can truly be yourself with. I don't know about you, but family are the best people in the world! My family, to be exact. Some photos:

Posing near the new showroom next to my housing area. As you can see, I'm not much of a poser. Judith seems to be the main poser.

Going up to the waterfall in Templer Park. Guess which genius came up with the posing idea? Hahaha. Hint : the one with the FGA Selayang youth camp T-shirt

Can you spot the monkeys??? :P

Rocking out during Christmas. One of the better christmasses I've had!

Don't you think this person is a bit too young - ok, very young- to be reading that?

My mom so syok-sendiri lah...HEHEHE.

L-R : Pauline, Rachel, my grandmother, me, Joanne. Below: Judith

THIS IS THE BEST PICTURE EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love my family! They're the best. Theres no place like home. Where people actually care about you and are always there to pick you up when you fall. They don't back stab and curse behind your back.

They're the only people who truly love you.

So be happy and learn to appreciate them more, Carissa!

:P
